Post-event resources:
Support for staff and volunteers interested in financial issues.
Community First Yorkshire holds regular informal network meetings for staff and volunteers with an interest in financial issues in the voluntary and community sector. This network merges and expands the previous Finance Network and the Treasurers’ Network.
Discussions are often far-ranging covering everything from financial reporting and accounting, auto enrollment and charity insurance to cyber security and risk management. Colleagues benefit from hearing how others manage their financial activities and are also encouraged to connect outside meetings to offer peer support and help with questions raised.
Below you will find information from past Finance Network and Treasurers’ Network meetings.
Upcoming network meetings
Our next meeting is on 4 February, book here.
Are you experiencing a challenge and would welcome support and advice or have a top tip to share with others in the sector?
Share your experience of your community finance role, learn about new resources and policy development, ask questions and share good practice, and explore mutual topics of interest. These inclusive network meetings are open to everyone who works for a charity in a financial role, or volunteers in a financial role, such as a treasurer within North Yorkshire.
