Peer support and making connections

Want to stay well connected? Join one of our networks and come along to our meetings.

They’re a great way to connect with people in a similar role to you, get support and share experiences.

We have six different networks in North Yorkshire:

  • Age Friendly Network – providing a representative voice for older people living in North Yorkshire to help encourage an age friendly community across the county where people can live healthy and active lives. Together with our network members, we talk to local service providers, share information, raise the issues that really matter and work to make change happen
  • Community buildings and village halls network – for people running village halls
  • Community business network – designed to support voluntary organisations and social enterprises across North Yorkshire that generate traded income and are committed to creating positive change
  • CEO Peer Group – for chief executives and leaders (CEOs) from voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across North Yorkshire
  • Finance Forum –  for staff and volunteers with an interest in financial issues in the voluntary and community sector. Our next meeting is on 2 December, book here.
  • Reuse network – for groups and organisations interested in reuse
  • Volunteer coordinators network – for people who are looking for or responsible for organising volunteers. Join our next meeting on 1 December.
  • VCSE Voices – brings together people and organisations from across the region to share knowledge, discover fresh ideas and influence local and regional decision making.
