January can see a boom in volunteering with many people making it their New Year’s resolution to give something back. Retaining your volunteers is vital. How do you care for your volunteers wellbeing and avoid burnout?
Explore how to look after your volunteers at this month’s North Yorkshire Volunteer Network (VNET) which will focus on best practise, reward and recognition, flexibility and keeping volunteering fresh.
North Yorkshire Volunteer Network (VNet) is a safe place to bring challenges and is a friendly group with peer support at its heart. The meeting and its members provides a round up of all the latest news and opportunities for the sector both locally and nationally. We will research and deliver on subjects highlighted by each group, and invite specialist speakers on occasion to expand our knowledge in an ever changing sector.
Who is the event aimed at?
Volunteer managers and Volunteer coordinators in the Scarborough district.
