Safeguarding for Trustees and Management Committees

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and as a trustee or member of a management committee, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of everyone involved with your organisation.
This online workshop is designed to empower you and give you the confidence to effectively address safeguarding concerns. Stay up to date with the latest safeguarding governance and demonstrate your commitment to the wellbeing of your beneficiaries, volunteers, staff, and visitors.
This training is also useful for village hall management committees and will help all organisations meet the Charity Good Governance Code.
Take the lead in creating a safe and secure environment for all and make a positive impact in your community. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to strengthen your safeguarding practices and ensure you are doing everything possible to protect others.

What will you learn?

Participants will develop their knowledge and understanding of:

  • Safeguarding duties and responsibilities within your organisation
  • A Designated Safeguarding Lead and what this involves
  • What you need in order to comply with good safeguarding practice
  • How to access a range of up-to-date informative resources on good practice
  • How to access further safeguarding policy and procedure support beyond the session.

You will leave the training with practical tools to help increase the effectiveness of your organisation or group.
