Event aims

Do you need help setting up and running an online fundraising campaign?

Raising funds online is no longer just for the large national charities. Online fundraising platforms have become a vital fundraising stream for charities and organisations who want to raise money quickly and easily.

This training will provide techniques on how to engage with your community, reach a wider support base and raise money for your cause or project using online platforms.

This live, interactive training aims to improve your knowledge of how to raise funds online and ensure you maximise your success.

The training is delivered over Zoom and our funding adviser will provide you with expert advice relevant to your organisation or project.

Who should attend?

This workshop is suitable for staff, volunteers and trustees/committee members from charities, voluntary and community organisations looking to raise money online for a specific project.

Please note this training is aimed at organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

What will you learn?

During this session, participants will develop their knowledge and understanding of:

  • how to plan and manage an online fundraising campaign, including access to a wide range of tools and templates to get you started
  • the different platforms available for raising money online
  • how to make the best of social media to reach your audience
  • fundraising regulations
  • how to maximise the funds you raise.

The training will be interactive and provides an opportunity to network with other organisations from across the region.
