HR Café briefing on the Employment Rights Bill

NEW FOR 2025: Do you have a burning HR issue that you need some advice on, especially in light of the new Employment Rights Bill?

This special HR Café session with employment specialist, Jane Hudson, will provide an essential briefing on the new Bill and its ramifications for our sector.

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about the Bill and any other general HR issues you have. This could include how to deal with a tricky disciplinary situation, an organisation restructure, or perhaps a new policy or procedure.

Our HR adviser, Jane, can offer her expertise to help solve any employment issues you have, giving you the peace of mind and confidence to handle a situation correctly.

Even if you don’t have a burning issue right now, this session is an excellent learning opportunity – giving you lots of information that will stand you in good stead for the future.

The Q&A session will be confidential between attendees and follow-up support is available for those most in need.

What will you learn?

This session provides a briefing on the new Employment Rights Bill. It is also, as with previous HR Café sessions, an opportunity for you to get the answers you need for any HR and employment issues you have.

Our employment advice service is normally chargeable, but this Employment Rights Bill and Q&A session is free.

Questions can be asked on the day or ideally sent in advance to allow our expert to answer with as much information as possible.

Who should attend?

This HR clinic is recommended for trustees, chief executives and any line managers who have managerial responsibility.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

About the trainer

Jane Hudson has worked in HR for more than 20 years. She has extensive employment knowledge and experience in supporting organisations with their HR issues.
