How do you prepare a risk assessment for Covid secure venues, events and buildings?
The communal nature of village halls and community buildings means they are at risk of spreading the coronavirus. This network meeting will help you get to grips with what preparations you need to make to safely open up your venue.
Who should attend?
This a network meeting for community building and village hall trustees across Hambleton to network and share information, advice, tips and thoughts on all aspects of running a hall.
What will you learn?
Risk assessments: Good practise, what makes an effective risk assessment?
In the first half of the meeting we will explore the dos and don’ts of writing a risk assessment, with particular reference to writing risk assessments for Covid secure venues, events and activities. As halls reopen it is important that risk assessments are up to date, that they accurately reflect the risks and the steps taken to address any risk, and that your assessment communicates clearly and comprehensively this information for third parties.
The second half of the meeting will be open networking for halls to discuss any questions or concerns they have about any aspect of running a hall. Please submit before the meeting any questions you would like to put to the network.
Please note that this is a virtual network meeting which will be held via Zoom.
You need to register to attend – please click on the ‘register now’ button at the bottom of this page.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We are operating a waiting list and if the meeting is oversubscribed we will look to run a second meeting.
Once you have registered to attend a confirmation email will be sent with a Zoom link to join.
