This is a space for charity finance staff to meet with others in a similar role. To ask questions and share good practice, information, advice and tips on all areas of voluntary sector finance.
We recognise that you may be the only staff member in your organisation with any financial knowledge and that there are times when you feel you would benefit from being able to discuss a problem with someone else in a similar position. By joining this network we aim to give you that opportunity.
Who should attend?
This network is open to staff members of voluntary or community organisations in North Yorkshire who have responsibility for day to day financial operations.
What will you learn?
At this meeting we are inviting open discussion about anything relating to finance. This might be thoughts or questions about software, payroll packages, financial reports, accounting or Excel.
Are you experiencing a challenge and would welcome support and advice?
Maybe you could share a top tip with someone who is new to the sector.
You will also be able to help us shape the meetings going forward with ideas for future formats and topics for discussion.
The meeting will be hosted by Lizzie Clapham and Joanne Abbott, development officers at Community First Yorkshire

To enable as many organisations as possible to be represented we are limiting the number of attendees to one representative per organisation.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
If the meeting is oversubscribed please add your name to the waiting list and we will let you know if a place becomes available.
Once you have registered to attend, a confirmation email will be sent nearer the time with further information and a zoom link to join us.
