A Community First Yorkshire event

Age Friendly Network Meeting

North Yorkshire’s Age Friendly Network offers an opportunity for older people in our communities – their families and the organisations that support them – to share information and individual views on the topics that really matter.

This in-person event, being held in central York, will focus on a new report on healthy ageing from North Yorkshire’s Director of Public Health.

It will also offer a great opportunity to find out more about our plans for the year ahead and to feed in your thoughts on key topics and areas of interest.

What will you learn?

Join us for tea and cake and a chance to get together with other people who are passionate about making North Yorkshire an Age Friendly place to live and work.

For this meeting, we will be joined by Carly Walker, from North Yorkshire Council’s Public Health team. Carly will be updating us on the Director of Public Health’s annual report: ‘Live, Age, Engage: healthy ageing in North Yorkshire’.

Also help us to work hard on your behalf – feed into our plans for the year ahead to make sure we are focused on the issues that matter most to you.
