This is a network meeting for volunteer co-ordinators from across North Yorkshire to come together to share information, advice, tips and thoughts on all aspects of volunteer management.
A Community First Yorkshire event
Volunteer Co-ordinators Network Meeting
Involving LGBTQIA+ Volunteers
Join us as at this Volunteer Co-ordinator Network meeting where we will look at involving LGBTQIA+ volunteers. The session aims to raise awareness and confidence of the language we use, and offer an insight into the intersectionality of all in our communities.
By looking at the barriers and conflicts people can face in engaging in a variety of settings, we will challenge unconscious bias and provide further details of support services and networks available to you.
There will also be an opportunity to explore this and other topics further with other volunteer coordinators and to raise any issues or concerns you may have about any aspect of volunteer management.
If you have any specific questions you would like to put to the network, please submit these before the meeting.
